High Velocity Water Spray Nozzles are internal swirl plate type open nozzles designed for use in fixed water spray or deluge system for the fire protection system. Nozzles are normally used to cool the surface as well as for extinguishment.
Nozzles are typically used for Deluge protection of special hazards such as oil filled transformers, switch-gear, chemical process equipments, and flammable liquid storage areas.
Medium velocity water spray nozzle has an external deflector, which discharges water in a directional cone shaped pattern of small droplet size. The water is uniformly distributed over the surface to be protected.
The nozzle is used in deluge water spray system for special hazards like cable galleries, conveyors, etc.
Quartzoid bulb detector which is nothing but the sprinkler bulb which is used as a detection system in High velocity water spray system. The glass bulb contains a fluid which expands when exposed to heat. When the rated temperature is reached, the fluid expands sufficiently to shatter the glass bulb, allowing the sprinkler to activate and water to flow.
Deluge valve is known as a system control valve in a deluge system, used for fast application of water in a spray system. Deluge valve protects areas such as power transformer installation, storage tank, conveyor protection and other industrial application etc. Deluge valve is a quick release, hydraulically operated diaphragm valve.
The gate valve, also known as a sluice valve, is a valve that opens by lifting a round or rectangular gate/wedge out of the path of the fluid. The distinct feature of a gate valve is the sealing surfaces between the gate and seats are planar, so gate valves are often used when a straight-line flow of fluid and minimum restriction is desired. Gate valves are characterized as having either a rising or a non rising stem
The Gate valve is used in deluge valve for both HVWS & MVWS System both in upstream and downstream which will be normally open and also in bypass which will be normally closed.
Butterfly valve is a valve which can be used for isolating or regulating flow. The closing mechanism takes the form of a disk. Operation is similar to that of a ball valve, which allows for quick shut off. The disc is positioned in the center of the pipe, passing through the disc is a rod connected to an actuator on the outside of the valve.
"Y" Strainers take their name from their configuration. They are most commonly used in pressurized lines, gas or liquid, but can also be used in suction or vacuum conditions. They are intended for applications where small amounts of solid particulate are expected, and where clean-out will be infrequent. If solids will flush easily from the screen, and fluid can be exhausted to atmosphere, a blow-down valve on the drain port will allow clean-out without removal of the screen, and without interrupting the process flow.
A pressure switch is a switching device and not a measuring instrument even though it has a scale to assist setting. On & off setting should not exceed the upper or lower range of the span.
The pressure switch is used in the HVWS System both in detection and protection line to send a feedback to the Fire Alarm Panel if there is any pressure loss due to fire in both the line & in the MVWS system in protection line to send a feedback signal toFire alarm panel.
